As a boutique architectural design company in the amazing community of Niagara, we work closely with you to give you a high quality, highly personalized experience.
Our 4-step process ensures that the finished designs meet your needs and minimize any issues during the build process.
1. Design objectives
We like to start with an initial meeting to discuss your project objectives, design ideas and inspirations, and a project wish list. We also conduct research to determine all applicable regulations that may impact the design at the property location, including local zoning bylaws, Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority, etc.
2. Conceptual Design
After the review of design objectives and a further look at all applicable regulatory requirements (e.g. NPCA), we prepare a conceptual design to meet your needs. The conceptual design includes site plan, floor plans, building elevations, and 3D perspectives.
3. Design development and planning
Following acceptance of the conceptual design, we develop plans that adhere to the Ontario Building Code. Plans are also circulated for additional technical design development as needed (e.g. structural design, pre-engineered trusses).
4. Construction documents & permit applications
After finalizing the design, we compile the complete set of architectural designs for permit submission, including any required technical and engineering drawings. We can also provide a materials list and pricing on request.
